Pay monthly FAQs

1. How do I view my bill online or find out much flexible credit I have left?

5.What is flexible credit?

Flexible credit is the credit you receive every month to mix up how you like on calls, texts, picture messages and browsing.  For example, our £10 subscription gives you £40 of flexible credit.

We don’t limit you to a set amount of minutes or texts with your Pay monthly tariff; you receive flexible credit to use how you like.

So, if you don’t make many calls one month you’ll have more credit available for other things – like texts, picture messages or browsing – it’s up to you.

You can use your flexible credit on:

- UK calls, texts and picture messages to:
- UK mobiles
- UK landlines starting 01, 02 or 03 numbers only
- Your 5 favourite numbers
- UK voicemail
- UK mobile internet browsing
- Calls to Customer Care

6. How many numbers can I have on one Pay monthly account?

You can have up to 5 connected on the one Pay Monthly account.

That means you can receive the bills of up to 5 Tesco Mobile Pay monthly mobiles on a single bill.  Plus, if 3 or more numbers are connected you’ll receive a 10% discount on the monthly subscriptions of each.

7. What happens if I move from Pay as you go to Pay monthly?


8. Can I use my mobile abroad?

Yes, if you've been with Tesco Mobile for more than a month, you can automatically use your mobile abroad (if your first monthly bill has been paid in full).

Note that calls made whilst outside of the UK will not be taken from your monthly flexible credit, these will be added to your bill.

9. How do I change my 5 favourite numbers?

10. What's the fair use policy on Unlimited?


The upper limit on Unlimited Flexible Credit is £500. If you exceed this we may do any of the following:

  • Request you to moderate your use.
  • Impose further charges in respect to your atypical or abusive use; or
  • Transfer you to a tariff that does not include Unlimited Flexible Credit.
