We celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Healthy Eating range of products with a renewed focus on giving practical help on nutrition, calorie control and sensible eating.Because of public concern, Tesco has set up a new, UK-based, high welfare, veal rearing system using producer groups based in the south-west. The system includes special calf units where farmers rear stock from local dairy farms so that the calves do not have to travel long distances. This initiative follows the successful launch of RSPCA Freedom Food Pork earlier this year.
