Tesco Wholefoods

Feel better with our healthy, minimally processed and nutritional wholefoods - just as nature intended

Bringing Wholefoods into the Supermarket

It was obvious from customers that there was a growing appetite for nutritious foods which are good for health. Previously, wholefoods were mainly only sold in health food shops but now we have created the Wholefoods range and brought it to our stores at Tesco prices, providing healthy and nutritious food for everyone.
The Tesco Wholefoods range offers customers clear health benefits and it has helped wholefoods to become one of the UK's biggest food trends including a following by several celebrities.

About the Wholefoods range

Besides being delicious, these foods are rich in minerals, nutrients and vitamins. Many are also low-Gi foods, giving you healthier, longer-lasting energy and making it easier to control weight.

The Wholefoods range includes:

  • Quinoa (a perfect alternative to cous cous and bulgar wheat)
  • Mung beans (high in folic acid, and a great base for soup)
  • Aduki beans (a great source of protein and fibre, which may help lower cholesterol)
  • Dried apricots (excellent source of fibre, aiding healthy digestion)
  • Macadamia nuts (packed with "good" monounsaturated fats)
  • Pumpkin seeds (handy source of protein and Omega 6)
