Is your cat going to the toilet in the wrong place? Don’t worry, there are a number of things that you can do. Firstly, ensure the litter tray is in a suitable place, not near their food bowl or bed. Make sure the tray is in a relatively safe, undisturbed place, away from the door or cat flap and not somewhere your cat is likely to be interrupted — cats like some privacy when they use the toilet.

If your cat is spraying in the house it may be because he is a bit insecure. Make sure that you aren’t getting strange cats coming in through the cat flap, which is upsetting your cat and causing him to mark his territory.
