Cabernet Sauvignon Red Argentinean Wine.
"This intense Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 15 months in American and French oak barrels and expresses aromas of cassis and raspberry jam with an elegant touch of roasted pepper and chocolate. I would suggest matching it with pastas, red meats or mature soft cheeses".
Rodolfo "Opi" Sadler Chief Winemaker
The wines that form our La Mascota range have been developed in honour of the visionary founders of bodegas Santa Ana. These wines have been produced in very limited quantities from our finest vineyard, named La Mascota, situated in Cruz de Piedra, Maipú, one of the oldest and most prestigious winemaking areas in Mendoza. The finest grapes married with the expertise of our winemaking team have allowed us to produce wines which I am sure would have made our founders proud.

Deep red in colour with hints of violet. Aroma of liquorice, cassis and warm raspberry jam. Full-bodied, complex and a very long after taste

Vinification Details
The La Mascota Sauvignon Blanc wines are made through site and parcel selection, small batch fermentation and barrel ageing. The focus is still on balance and varietal character and the oak ageing is designed to enhance the fruit flavours, not to dominate. The wine is aged for 15 months in new French and American barrels, followed by filtering and bottling.
History
The Bodegas Santa Ana history is reflected over 115 years in the winemaking industry, reaching over 45 countries worldwide. Innovation is part of this reach history, and it has been a key feature in their ability, adapting themselves to the continuous change in the customers taste. Cutting edge technology, processes and production techniques are their company's daily bread.
