Semillon is a classic French grape which has become one of Australia's most iconic white varietals.
Telegraph Station Semillon has aromas of fresh lime and gooseberries with zesty citrus and tropical fruit flavours. This elegant wine is perfect served lightly chilled with fish and seafood dishes, poultry or salads.
The overland Telegraph Stations built in 1872 between Port Augusta in the south and Darwin in the north connected Australia with the rest of the world.

After harvesting at optimum ripeness, the grapes were crushed and destemmed before fermenting in stainless steel for two weeks at a temperature of 15 degees. This wine has had no contact with oak.

The grapes for this wine were grown in the warm, sunny vineyards of South Eastern Australia's Big Rivers NSW (Riverina) and Riverland regions.
