Vinification Details
The moderate temperatures in the spring and summer helped the grapes to reach maturity earlier. A short heat spell in early September pushed the Pinot Noir grapes to full ripeness with great red fruit flavours, soft tannins and a promising garnet colour bleed.
History

Regional Information
Sitting at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, California’s Central Valley produces Pinot Noir fruit of outstanding quality. Consistently favourable weather conditions create an environment during the growing season in which the grapes enjoy plenty of hangtime. Not only does this growing centre enjoy the benefits of the natural protection and favourable micro-climate influenced by the mountains, its soil is rich in minerals.
