Grape Variety:

Airén , Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo

Vinification Details:

The grapes were hand picked in September. The ideal ripeness levels are determined by the technical department at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled low temperature followed by bottling. There is no malolactic fermentation or oak ageing in order to retain fruit freshness. The wine is fined using Bentonite.

History:

What started out as a personal project over 40 years ago has become a considerable entrepreneurial group in the wine sector still keeping the family set-up and the tradition it has had since its beginnings. Combining tradition with the latest techniques in winemaking and oenology coupled with the experience of years in the wine sector, we have succeeded in offering a wide variety of quality products: young wines, quality wines under different denominations of origin, eau-de-vies and liqueurs.

Regional Information:

The vineyards are located in Galicia, Spain. Soils are of poor quality - acid, sandy and thin. The Atlantic climate influence is manifested in mild temperatures and high, well distributed rainfall. The average age of the vines is 20 years.
