Key Limes have been cultivated in Florida Keys since the 1800's and the earliest Key Lime Pie recipe was first recorded in the 1930's. This recipe is taken from Cuba's Grill, a restaurant owned by a Chef named Clare. She has entered this recipe in many competitions to be named the "Best Key Lime Pie in the World".
