Vinification Details
This wine is produced from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in South Africa's sunny Western Cape and selected at optimal ripeness. Fermentation took place slowly at controlled temperatures in order to preserve the fresh fruit characteristics of the grapes.
History
Chenin Blanc is by far the most widely planted white grape variety in South Africa's Western Cape, where it is known locally as Steen.
