Graham's has a reputation which is second to none as a producer of outstanding Ports. The wines are renowned for their remarkable richness, concentration and firm tannins, which combine to yield superb Port with impressive longevity. Graham's consistently attains the highest ratings in blind tastings and competitions.
Graham's Crusted is a blend of carefully selected young ports from two or three vintage years, bottled without any fining or filtration in the year indicated on the label. After 7 years of bottle ageing in ideal conditions in Graham's cellars in Oporto, it has developed the magnificent bouquet and flavour unique to bottle matured wines. Excellent deep ruby colour, with layer upon layer of rich concentrated red and black fruit aromas. On the palate packed with fruit flavours and with floral hints of eucalyptus and mint. Well balanced and a long and lingering finish.
Crusted Port derives its name from the fact that, exactly like Vintage Port, it will throw a 'crust' or natural deposit as it matures in bottle. It will therefore require a simple decanting prior to serving. Stand the bottle upright a few hours before opening so as to allow the deposit to settle and carefully pour the wine into large clean wine glasses.
Graham's was founded in 1820 and is owned and managed by the Symington family, 4th generation winemaker since the 19th century. Graham's wines come from the Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta do Tua vineyards in the Douro Superior and Quinta das Lages in the Rio Torto, along with a collection of very fine vineyard properties privately owned by Symington family members.

The grapes come primarily from five 'A' grade classified Quintas, amongst the best in the Upper Douro Valley. Sitting in the heart of the Upper Douro Valley, these Quintas enjoy an ideal combination of a hot and dry micro-climate, coupled with a unique schist soil that provide the best conditions for growing and optimal ripening.
Founded in 1820 by W&J Graham in Portugal's Douro Valley, Graham's has developed over time an unmatched reputation as one of the greatest names in Port.
The Douro valley is one of the most challenging wine-growing regions. Its mountainous terrain & steep winding valleys create a microclimate producing unique wines. The Marão range, which rises to 1,400m, ensures the region is protected from the influences of the Atlantic . The temperatures fall below freezing in winter & consistently climb above 30C in summer. These harsh conditions are ideal for making wines of great power & concentration. Steep gradients preclude machinery, all grapes being handpicked.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 10 years
