This intense ruby hued and juicy Syrah has aromas of blueberries and plums on the nose, with hints of vanilla. The full bodied palate shows cherry and wild berry flavours with chocolate notes, complemented by fresh tannins and a long, elegant finish. Ideal for smoked meats or rich and spicy dishes.

Vinification Details
Carefully selected grapes were crushed and stored in stainless steel tanks in order to extract colour and flavour prior to the fermentation. Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures and following this the wine was then stored for 6 months in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.
History
Chilano is a joint venture between PLB and Vina Ventisquero and originates from the desire to establish a brand that firmly identifies with Chile. It is the embodiment of Chilean culture, with its heritage, myriad crafts and vibrant colours.
Regional Information
The grapes for this Chilano Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon were grown in Chile's renowned Central Valley. With vineyards based in five of Chile's top sites - Trinidad and Tantehue in the Maipo Valley, Peralillo and Apalta in the Rapel Valley and Casablanca we are ideally positioned to represent Chilean wine at its best.
