João Portugal Ramos is strongly linked to Portuguese wines: first as a consultant oenologist, and since 1992, as a producer. After striking success in the Alentejo, João extended to other regions and today the company produces wines in all of the Portuguese most important wine regions including the Douro region which is renowned for its spectacular red wines.
Made with specially selected grapes grown on the steep banks of the Douro river in northern Portugal. The Douro region is home to Port production, but in more recent years has been producing top quality table wines, and gained a worldwide reputation for it's wines.
