Enoport United Wineries unified some of the oldest and most established Portuguese wine companies which are all recognised in global markets. Now one of the leading Portuguese producers, Enoport offer award winning wines from several regions.
The Douro is one the wildest areas of the national territory, carved by River Douro Valley and Douro River and by the schist soils. Heavily mountainous the region is protected from the Atlantic influence by the Serra do Marão. The weather is usually dry, with cold winters and very hot summers, ranging from moderate precipitation in the West and the dryness of the desert near the border.
