Cooking Instructions (General): Our Atlantic Cod fillets are best oven baked straight from your freezer.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. More than one fillet may require additional cooking time.
Oven cook (From Frozen): 200°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 6
Pre-heat the oven.
Remove all packaging and wrap one fillet in lightly oiled foil and form a parcel.
Place the parcel onto a baking tray and place in the centre of the oven.
Cook for 25 minutes.
Microwave (From Frozen): Remove all packaging and place one fillet onto a plate suitable for use in the microwave.
Cover with film and pierce several times.
Cook in the centre of the turntable on Full Power is follows.
Microwave Power 800W, Cook 3 mins, Stand 1 min
Microwave Power 900W, Cook 3 mins, Stand 1 min
Caution! Plate will become hot during cooking.
Baked Cod with a honey and soy marinade
You will need...
2 Cod Fillets
1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Honey
1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Fresh Coriander Chopped
Spring Onions Chopped
1/2 Fresh Red Chilli Sliced
1. Remove all packaging & place the cod fillets into a lightly oiled oven proof dish.
2. Sprinkle the spring onions, chilli & fresh coriander over the top of the cod.
3. Make a marinade with the soy sauce, honey & olive oil & pour over the cod, spring onions, chilli & coriander.
4. Cover the dish with foil & place in a preheated oven 200°C/400°F/Gas 6 for 10 minutes, remove foil lid & cook for a further 15 minutes uncovered.
