take this medicine because it contains

This medicine is available without prescription,
however, you still need to use this product
carefully to get the best results from it.

1. What is this medicine and what
is it used for? (all bold, second line indented)
This medicine contains:
• passion flower. (all bold)
They are all sedatives which help you sleep.
These tablets are a traditional herbal remedy
to soothe and so aid restful sleep.
2. Is this medicine suitable for you?
Do not take this medicine if you: (all bold)
• are allergic to any of the ingredients
• are taking Beta blockers (high blood
pressure medicine) - you may experience (indented)
visual disturbances such as blurred vision (indented)
• are taking medicines to make you sleepy
• suffer from depressive illnesses.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding (bold)
Please see your doctor or pharmacist before
taking this medicine.

Do not drink alcohol (beer, wine, spirits etc),
as there is the possibility of an additive effect.
These tablets might cause drowsiness which
can persist into the following day. If affected
do not drive or operate machinery.
3. How to take this medicine (bold)
For oral use. Swallow the tablets whole with
water. Do not chew.
Adults and the elderly: (bold)
2 tablets, 1 hour before you go to bed.
Children: Not recommended. ('Children:' in bold)
Do not exceed the stated dose. (bold)
If you take too many tablets by mistake, contact
your doctor or pharmacist straight away.
4. Possible side effects (bold)
Most people do not have any side effects while
taking this medicine. However, if you experience
any of the following side effects, or anything
else unusual happens, stop taking the medicine
immediately and see your doctor or pharmacist.
Rare side effects are: (bold)
• stomach cramps
• feeling sick and vomiting (being sick)
• gastro-enteritis (inflammation of the
stomach and intestines) (indented)

5. How to store your medicine
Keep all medicines out of the reach and

Do not use these tablets after the expiry date
on the pack.

6. What is in this medicine? (bold)
Each tan coloured, film coated tablet contains
the active ingredients: extract of hops
equivalent to 200 mg, extract of valerian
equivalent to 160 mg and extract of passion
flower equivalent to 130 mg.
The other ingredients are: calcium hydrogen
phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose (E460),
maltodextrin, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic
acid, magnesium stearate, hypromellose
(E464), polyethylene glycol, iron oxides (E172),
titanium dioxide (E171).
This product is available in a pack size of 60
