The grapes were carefully selected, and then fermentation and contact with the skins lasts for 8-12 days to obtain the full flavour of the Syrah grapes. Further aging in oak barrels for 6-8 months gives the wine a smooth finish
Founded in 1933, Cave de Tain are one of the most respected and well-run co-operatives in the Rhône . Their objective is to produce authentic wines which bear the full character of their individual vineyard sites.
The vineyards of Crozes Hermitage are situated in the Northern Rhone valley. They are spread across 11 villages on the left bank of the Rhone.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 3 years
