Vinification Details
Perfectly-ripe Pinot Grigio grapes are de-stemmed and gently pressed. The skins are immediately separated from the juice which is cool-fermented at 17-18°C. Once fermentation is completed, the wine is decanted and filtered prior to bottling.
History
The Podere Vaglie winery was founded by Alessandro Lumini and his family who have a passion for the wines of the Umbria region. In 1997 the company began to produce wines from indigenous local grape varieties. Their desire is to offer a high quality product that represents the terroir of the region. Vaglie has maintained local traditions whilst investing in modern wine-making techniques in order to offer the best possible quality.

The Podere Vaglie winery is situated in the heart of Umbria, in the wonderful hilly area of Orvieto, an area known throughout Italy for its excellent wine production, both premium and super premium wines.
