Lee Kum Kee double deluxe soy sauce is naturally brewed according to an ancient 'double fermentation' recipe, providing a unique, high quality, light soy sauce. Taking around six months to brew, double deluxe soy sauce delivers a scrumptious taste and delectable soy aroma.
Double fermentation
Double fermentation, known as 'Shuang Yu' or 'Shuang Qu' in Chinese is a time honoured method of brewing fine soy sauce which originated in South China. Most soy sauces are fermented only once, so with this double brewing process, that takes around 6 months, Double Deluxe soy sauce provides truly unique, full bodied flavour, intense soy aroma and a lustrous ruby red tone.
Select soy beans
Soy beans are the heart and soul of soy sauce, with the beans going into our Double Deluxe brew rigorously selected and graded for size and weight only natural, non GSM soy beans are ever used.
Naturally created
