Produced from equal parts of chardonnay and pinot noir, and aged for over five years in the cool cellars of Reims, this fine vintage champagne shows an elegant richness and an appealing complexity. Founded in 1730 in Epernay, the House of Chanoine is one of the very oldest in the region.

Vintage champagne is produced only in good quality years. The champagne produced using the classic champagne method, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The champagne is aged in bottle for at least 5 years which allows the flavours to develop to give a fine, soft and elegant champagne. This has allowed the flavours to develop beautifully to give a fine, soft and elegant champagne.
The Chanoine champagne house is the second oldest in Champagne, founded originally in 1730 by two brothers, Jacques-Louis and Jean-Baptiste. The brothers excavated the first ever champagne cellars in the town of Epernay that year. They travelled the length and breadth of Europe, introducing their champagne to the affluent society of the time.
Champagne the wine, may come only from Champagne the region, in Northern France. Limestone and clay soils, similar to those in Southern England, produce the finest quality grapes for making Champagne.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 2 years
