Product properties
With a vibrant aromatic palate, this Côtes du Rhône Villages has cherry and blackcurrant aromas followed by hints of spice.
Caves Saint Pierre, established in the heart of the Rhône valley for more than a century has produced this unique red with delicate fruit flavours.
In the 1950s a winery, established since 1898, built ageing cellars in the Saint Pierre area of the village. The cellars' first wines were given the name Caves Saint Pierre. Over the years all aspects of the wine making process have been perfected. Wines classed as "Villages" have to come from specific vineyards within the region that have adhered to strict wine making requirements to ensure the wine is of excellent quality. The grapes were separated from the bunches before being crushed. The wines were carefully matured in our storehouses, in vats to give them the best preparation for bottling and to enhance the quality of the fruit flavours.
