Our Northern Irish pot roast is a traditional joint from prime cattle raised on
Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured (NIFQA) farms. This prime beef cut, with
an open–grained texture and depth of flavour, is exceptionally succulent when
cooked slowly.

Remove all packaging. Slow roast in wine or stock in the centre of a pre-heated oven 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for 7 minutes per 100g plus 35 minutes (Cook for minimum of 2 hours if the joint is less than 1.5kg). Allow joint to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes before serving. Remove netting/string prior to serving.
Cooking Precautions
Adjust times according to your particular oven. For fan assisted ovens cooking times should be reduced.All appliances vary these are guidelines only.Tesco recommend that all meat products are cooked thoroughly.Not suitable for microwave cooking.Not suitable for cooking from frozen.
