La Gioiosa is situated in the heart of Treviso and was established in 1975. 'Gioiosa' means 'joyful', this name symbolises the continuity of a winemaking tradition and the sociable lifestyle of the province of Treviso. The Treviso province lies where the boundaries of several different DOC wines meet: Prosecco of Conegliano, Valdobbiadene and of the Montello and Asolo Hills. Grapes are pressed and the juice fermented in contact with the skins to extract the colour. The wine is aged for 5 months in steel tanks, during this time the flavours fully integrate.
