Terms & Conditions

Inkjet Cartridge Recycling Terms & Conditions:
Please note: From 1st March 2008 there will be a 30 cartridge limit per household, per year. To enable us to give either 100 Green Clubcard Points to you or £1 to Marie Curie Cancer Care for every recyclable cartridge received, you need to select one of the options on the tear-off slip. If you do not have a Clubcard, Tesco will automatically donate to charity. Please do not send any inkjet cartridges other than those specified. Please do not send laser cartridges. Please ensure all details are accurately recorded on the tear-off strip on the envelope and enclosed. Tesco will donate to charity if no customer details are recorded. Tesco takes no responsibility for cartridges damaged or lost in the post. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.

How to send your mobile for recycling using your own envelope:
It’s easy. You can post your phone using any envelope, to our Freepost address. You won't even need a stamp. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Get an envelope big enough for your old mobile(s)
  2. Write your surname, post code, Clubcard number (if you want to receive your Green Clubcard Points) on a slip of paper and put it in your envelope. If you want us to make a donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care instead of receiving Green Clubcard Points, please write ‘donate to charity’ on your slip of paper.
  3. Remove your SIM card from your mobile. SIM cards are destroyed by recycling, so if you need yours please take it out!
  4. Put your mobile in the envelope.
  5. Write this FREEPOST address on your envelope
    Tesco Mobile Phone Recycling
    FREEPOST LON17592
    Mitcham
    CR4 3UZ
  6. Seal the envelope and pop it in the post.

Greener Solutions will recycle your mobile phone and we'll follow your instructions on giving you Green Clubcard Points or donating money to Marie Curie Cancer Care on your behalf.
If you’ve sent a phone that turns on, we’ll give you 300 Green Clubcard Points, or £3 to Marie Curie Cancer Care. If the phone does not turn on, you will receive 50 Green Clubcard Points or you can choose to donate 50p to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
