Exclusive to Tesco – Cath Kidston reusable bag

In summer 2008, we launched a range of reusable designer bags by Cath Kidston – a collectable set made from recycled plastic bottles. Last year’s Tesco Charity of the Year, Marie Curie Cancer Care, received a 50 pence donation for every bag sold – raising £450,000.   

We launched eight Cath Kidston bags in total: vintage-style Christmas print, Blue Ottoman Rose, Blue Floral, Ottoman Rose, Multi-Floral, Blue Spot, Stripe and Classic Floral. Each bag was made out of nine recycled 500ml plastic bottles.   

For each bag sold, we donated 50p to a charity close to Cath Kidston’s and Tesco’s hearts: Marie Curie Cancer Care. No profit went to Tesco or Cath Kidston Ltd and we raised £450,000 for this superb charitable cause.
