How to earn points

There are six easy ways to collect green Clubcard points.

Reuse bags
If you reuse any bag in store, rather than a new one, we’ll give you at least one point for each bag reused (depending on its size). They don’t have to be Tesco bags – any bag you reuse gets you points. So far, over three billion carrier bags have been saved – that’s a lot of Clubcard points!

Choose bagless deliveries
Order online at Tesco.com and we’ll give you one point for every 10 items you buy when you pick the bagless delivery option. We’ll unload your goods from our boxes, either at your door or onto your kitchen table or worktop – so you don't have to carry them in one by one.

Recycle your mobile phones with Tesco
Get 200 green Clubcard points for your old mobile if it switches on. Or you can ask us to donate £2 to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. If it doesn’t work, we’ll give you 50 green Clubcard points or donate 50p to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Some phones may also be eligible for an additional reward. Find out more here.

Recycle old inkjet cartridges
Recycle your inkjet cartridges with us and we’ll give you 100 green Clubcard points. See if your cartridges qualify. Pick up a Freepost envelope in store or go to the Recycling Factory website.

Recycle aluminium cans
For every two aluminium cans you recycle at our Tesco automatic recycling centres, we’ll reward you with one green Clubcard point. Find your nearest recycling centre here.

Buy home insulation
You’ll collect green Clubcard points with every purchase from Tesco's Home Insulation Service. You get one point for every £1 you spend (and that’s on top of all the money you’ll save from keeping the heat in!).
