Jute bag competition terms and conditions

1. The prize is one of 10 large jute bags with a personalised photograph printed on the bag. Bags are available at http://www.tescophoto.com/wpp/tesco/buygifts_clothing.jsp

2. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years and over at midnight on the closing date (4 December 2009), unless they are closely related to a Tesco or Forward staff member or anyone connected with this competition.

3. Entry to the competition is by sending in tips for a greener Christmas.  Winners will be drawn at random from all submissions after the closing date.

4. Only one prize per person. Anyone sending in multiple entries will only be entitled to one prize if their name is drawn more than once.

5. Entries can either be sent by email to competitions@tescogreenerliving.com (stating Jute Bag) or can be posted to:

6. Entrants must include their name, postal address and email address.

7. Entries must arrive by midnight on 4 December 2009. Late or illegible entries will be disqualified. Tesco can take no responsibility for any problem with the postal services or otherwise that may result in any entry being lost. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery.

8. We reserve the right to exclude bulk or automated entries.

9. The winner will be notified within four weeks of the closing date by email or post. By entering the competition, entrants agree that in the event that they win, Tesco may publish their names on the Tesco Greener Living website and/or email in December 2009/January 2010.

10. Prizes cannot be transferred and there is no cash alternative. In the event of a winner being unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, or if there has been any breach of the rules, Tesco reserves the right to select an alternative winner, but it is not obliged to do so.

11. Tesco reserves the right to cancel the competition or any of these rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.

12. Tesco and Forward will only ever use personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. All information is held securely and will not be passed onto any other parties.
