Terms and conditions

1. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years and over at midnight on the closing date (30 September 2009), unless they are closely related to a Tesco or Forward staff member or anyone connected with this competition.

2. Only one entry per person. Anyone sending in multiple entries will have all but their first entry disqualified.

3. Entry to the competition is by answering the questions specified.

4. Entries can either be sent by email to competitions@tescogreenerliving.com or be posted to:

Entrants must include their name, age, postal address and email address.

5. Entries must arrive by midnight on 30 September 2009. Postal entries that are post marked 29 September 2009 will be accepted. Late or illegible entries will be disqualified. Tesco can take no responsibility for any problem with the postal services or otherwise that may result in any entry being lost. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery.

6. The winner will be chosen randomly from all correct entries.

7. The winner will be notified within four weeks of the closing date by email or post. By entering the competition, entrants agree that in the event that they win, Tesco may publish their names on the Tesco Greener Living website in October 2009. 

8. The prizes cannot be transferred and there is no cash alternative. In the event of the winner being unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, or if there has been any breach of the rules, Tesco reserves the right to select an alternative winner, but it is not obliged to do so.

9.  The canal boat holiday prize must be redeemed by 30 September 2010

10. Tesco reserves the right to cancel the competition or any of these rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.

11. Tesco and Forward will only ever use personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. All information is held securely and will not be passed onto any other parties.
