We’ve teamed up with UK Boat Hire to offer one lucky family the chance to win a week on a narrowboat, starting from any of their 11 bases in the UK.

Canals in the UK

There are more than 2,000 miles of canals and rivers in the UK – running through some of the finest countryside – and a boating holiday is the perfect way to discover them!

There's no itinerary, so once aboard you can you take the holiday at your own pace – taking in the scenery and wildlife or walking along the towpath and stopping off for pub lunches.

The greener option

A boating holiday is also a great green option - much better for the environment than flying abroad!

As well as making sure you have a wonderful time afloat, UK Boat Hire is also interested in the wellbeing of the waterways environment and other precious wildlife – which is why a percentage of their profits go into The Waterways Trust Green Fund at no extra cost to you.
