Our Finest* Restaurant Collection range is designed to make life easy, taking the hassle out of preparing a gourmet meal at home. Inspired by favourite restaurant dishes, the talented team of chefs at Tesco have crafted this delicious collection of luxurious recipes using premium ingredients hand-picked for their quality and flavour. We insist on succulent, welfare assured meat, free range eggs and absolutely nothing artificial – to make your night in as special as eating out. The Scottish Highland beef has been specially selected for tenderness and taste, award-winning cheddar from Taw Valley in Devon, MSC-approved wild scallops, British outdoor reared pork, Sicilian lemons, Cornish clotted cream, rich all-butter pastry made with creamy Jersey butter and free-range eggs throughout.
The range takes its influences from all over the world: from fragrant Asian Style Salmon with ginger and soy to Saffron and King Prawn Risotto from Milan in Italy, as well as British classics such as Pork Belly with Somerset Cider and Seasonal Apples and comfortingly familiar Bramley Apple Tart. For a truly special flavour, many of the dishes have been made using traditional slow-cooking methods. For example, our Slow Cooked Lamb is slowly roasted in a low oven in garlic, rosemary and thyme for two hours until the meat is so tender it falls off the bone. Many of our indulgent desserts are hand-finished, such as the gooey meringue on the Sicilian Lemon Meringue Pie.
