Featuring a CD player and DAB/FM radio, the Yamaha MCR140 also offers a docking facility for streaming music from your iPod or iPhone. Using a new version of Yamaha’s AirWired wireless streaming technology, you can stream your music with greater accuracy. A great new sound comes out of the twin detachable speakers, delivering 2x 15W of musical heft. While you listen, the system charges your iPod too. Altogether, the MCR140 is a neat multi-functional micro system. Available in no fewer than ten different colours, it’s surprisingly punchy despite its compact size.
