Like 2010's Only One Flo, Pt. 1, 2012's Wild Ones is a short, almost EP-length album featuring nine tracks in its standard version and with no full-length flow, but give Flo Rida some thin yet clever ideas and you get hot, infectious fluff like "Whistle," in which the pop-rapper energetically revives a come-on extending back to Lauren Bacall. Up next, the title cut with Sia recalls Katy Perry's "Fireworks," but crafted to support a sports highlight reel instead of teenage dreams. Flo Rida is both thrill seeker and hitmaker as the album races to its absolutely silly, LMFAO-featuring finish. It's gimmicky, lightweight, and best taken in small chunks, but assemble a glitter-friendly crowd and it gets the party started, succeeding at its one and only goal.
