Unless otherwise stated all selling prices include reasonable postage and packing charges. We make a nominal charge for processing and picking orders (defined as P&P). All such P&P charges are added automatically to your shopping basket.
Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95
Orders which include any other products will incur a P&P charge of £4.95
So, where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products a maximum P&P charge of £6.90* will apply, regardless of the number of items ordered.
Seeds and gardening equipment will normally be delivered within 7 working days. Plants, bulbs, potatoes etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the checkout page or in your order acknowledgement. Each variety of plant or product is packed separately. So if you order several plant varieties or products, these are likely to arrive on different days. We will send growing guides with all our plants to help you get the best from your chosen varieties. All items on this site are for delivery to UK addresses only.
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards for online orders. Please note that your account will be debited on receipt of order at T&M. If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment to us, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery. Refunds are only payable to the purchaser of the goods. All prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto our web pages. However, T&M reserves the right to change prices at any time. All prices include VAT if applicable.
Receiving Your Plants Order
We will ship your plants to you at the best time for planting. The sooner you can plant them up after arrival, the more successful you will be. We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. Please ensure that you open the packaging immediately upon receipt, and carefully read through the instruction leaflet provided. Each plant variety, or product, will be packed separately, so if you order several plant varieties or products, these are likely to arrive on different days. Each package will state the item enclosed on the top line of your address label. Please do not be alarmed if you do not receive your entire order on the same day. When stocks are limited, we undertake to supply a variety of similar colour and habit and of an equal or greater value. In the event that you are not happy with the substitute variety we send, please contact our Customer Care team
Distance Selling Regulations
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 7 working days after receipt. Please note that this does NOT extend to perishable items including living plants, cut flowers, bulbs, potatoes, onion and garlic sets, bare root plants, fruit trees, or fruit plants. If you wish to cancel an order please contact our Customer Care department within 7 working days after receipt. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession and they must be returned to us, promptly, at your cost. We can arrange collection of larger items, but you will be charged for this service at cost. We reserve the right to cancel any order.
Our Personal Guarantee to You
We promise to supply products in prime condition. If for any reason you are not 100% delighted upon receipt of your order, please advise us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or in writing within 14 days - this allows a replacement to be sent promptly to ensure you still have time to achieve total satisfaction from your purchases. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your seed germination, please notify us within 30 days of the prescribed germination time (specified on the seed packet, catalogue or online product page) enclosing both the outer packet and inner foil sachet. In exceptional circumstances, we will issue credit vouchers or a full refund for faulty goods. Our liability is restricted to the value of the goods ordered. We cannot accept responsibility for items which fail to grow due to extreme weather conditions, over- or under-watering, or which have not been cared for according to the easy-to-follow instructions supplied.
