At The Children's Furniture Company we design, manufacture and sell quality children's furniture that is well-made, stylish yet surprisingly affordable. As one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing providers of children’s furniture, we are specialists in a variety of furniture, including: children’s beds, bunk beds, trundle beds, bedroom furniture, storage solutions, and mattresses. In addition to this, we also provide a stylish range of children’s furniture accessories, including: bedding, wall art, rugs, playhouses and bean bags, to mention but a few.

We believe it shouldn’t just be us adults who can enjoy great furniture design. Our children deserve stylish yet safe furniture too, and we aim to make this affordable for everyone. We think that good quality, great looking children’s furniture is simply too expensive on the high street, so we’ve found a way of bringing you the best in quality and price, designed to make your hard earned pennies go that little bit further. No longer do you have to compromise on design or quality furniture when you’re shopping for your little ones. Here’s how we do it:

• We don’t use veneers, plastics or cheap flimsy materials - all our products are made from the quality wooden products.

• We offer fresh and funky designs, the majority of which are exclusive to us, designed by some of the best furniture designer talent around.

• We personally check every furniture factory we source from, spending weeks visiting our factories to quality check the furniture and to ensure the working environment is safe, clean and pleasant for the workforce.

• Not only do we cherry pick designs you’ll love, we aim to bring you function as well as form. Many of our products have been intelligently designed to create space-saving storage solutions.

• We work directly with designers and factories, saving you money on similar products sold by other leading retailers.

• Fuss free returns. We’re certain you'll love your furniture, but if not you can return your order with 14 days and we’ll give you a full refund – no questions asked. See our returns policy below for more information.

• We check all our products to ensure we have paid the utmost attention to the safety and quality of our products.

Please be aware that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We ship our items using a variety of couriers depending on the item that you have ordered including Interlink, TNT, Domestic Distribution and Network 4. We will include details of who will be delivering your parcel when we confirm dispatch to you.

We operate from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays. For orders placed over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday we will dispatch this item on the next working day or the next available courier collection from ourselves. For Large items only, our couriers will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery date and time-slot. On the day of deivery, the driver will contact you on the number provided with your order when they are approximately one hour away from your delivery address.

Delivery locations and exceptions

We deliver within the UK within a maximum of 10 working days. Certain locations off the mainland UK may require us to send orders with different couriers. For outlying areas we will try to deliver to the timeframes above, but there may be some occasions when there might be a delay. In these circumstances we will contact you to let you know and keep you updated at all times.

Requirements to sign for delivery

You will be required to check your goods and sign for your delivery, in order to accept you have received your order in good condition.

Missed delivery

For all small items, if we try to deliver and you are not available our courier will leave a calling card to advise you about what to do next to arrange a redelivery. For all large items, our courier will contact you directly to rearrange a suitable delivery date and time-slot. If you would like us to help rearrange your delivery, please let us know.

Returns & Cancellation Policy

Changed your mind?

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.

We are happy to accept returns for all of our products.

Charges for returns

If you change your mind and wish to return your item you will need to pay for the cost of return. Of course, if the item you have received is damaged or faulty, we will cover the cost of the return. Please note, we do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit, and we cannot accept returns once your item has been assembled. For safety and hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on mattresses or bedding once the item has been opened and / or used.

Most of our items can be returned using the Royal Mail, however our larger items may need to be returned by courier. If this is the case we estimate the cost of courier returns to be approximately £35. For change of mind returns you can either arrange your own courier or we can arrange for our courier to collect from you. If you choose this option we will deduct the cost of the return from your refund.. The cost will depend on the item, please contact us for further details.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any original packaging, tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

A returns form can be requested by sending an email to us. We will then advise you of where to return your goods to. If you wish us to arrange a collection we will then instruct our courier to contact you to arrange a suitable date and time to collect your goods.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us. Within the first 28 days we will issue a replacement item to you. Outside of the first 28 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
