Author's Biography

Margaret Wise Brown was a writer of extraordinary talent who died in 1952, when she was only 42. Her many classic picture books continue to delight thousands of new readers and listeners every year. As well as enjoying huge success collaborating with Margaret Wise Brown, Clement Hurd also created many beloved children's books with his wife Edith Thatcher Hurd.
