Ruthless and cynical, political life is not one for the faint of heart, as North Carolina congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) finds out. With election day fast approaching, he accidentally ends up drunk dialling the wrong people. Having left an explicit message on the phone recorder of a traditional Christian family, he becomes an easy target for the rival party. With daft Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) standing up against him, Brady tries all he can to recover his credibility after that tragic initial faux pas. As the debate escalates, these unlikely rivals become entangled in a hilarious power struggle, making The Campaign one of the most entertaining political comedies of recent years.
