If you need to measure lines at right angles to straight edges, then this Stanley try and mitre square is just what you need. It has a black headstock that is at right angles to a steel ruler. The ruler can measure in both metric and inches, and is firmly locked into the headstock by 3 screws. With this try and mitre square, you can measure and square off materials that need to be cut to size and shape for a DIY project. There is a hole at the end of the ruler that allows you to hang up the tool after use.
