Modern flat-screen TVs look great but their sound quality is often not that impressive. The Roth BAR1 system aims to be the answer to this problem. It consists of a slim, wall-mountable soundbar and a wireless subwoofer able to function up to 9 metres away from the main unit.
The soundbar itself connects to the TV via one of the two twin RCAs or the 3.5mm stereo jack. This means that it can also hook up to an iPod or any other MP3 player or CD player.
Overall the BAR 1 adds eight mid-range drivers, two high-frequency tweeters, and one wireless sub to your slim-screen – and all with a minimum of fuss, a scarcity of wires, and a large helping of sonic and visual style.
