The Rio Salon Laser X60 scanning hair removal system is very effective. By sending a laser beam to the hair follicle with enough energy it destroys the root without affecting the surrounding area. This has been clinically proven and is approved for home use. Note that unlike home use IPL (Intense Pulse Light), or heat-based hair removal technology, the results of laser hair removal are permanent. This procedure is not suitable for Afro-Caribbean and black skin complexions or grey hair. There are 3 built-in treatment mode options. One, for example, treats individual hairs, whilst the others scan larger areas treating up to 60 hairs in a few seconds. The kit contains a Salon Laser X60 scanning hair remover unit and wand, a step-by-step DVD, full instructions and an information guide, and a power adapter.
