Nikon’s new 50mm standard lens boasts a fast f/1.8 aperture and a remarkably compact and lightweight body. What’s more, a special aspherical lens element ensures superior image quality, ideal for capturing portraits with smooth bokeh or for low-light situations. The Nikkor AF-S lens also features a silent wave motor allowing for fast, quiet autofocus. In addition, 2 focus modes are also included, specially designed for crystal-clear images in a wide of photograph situations. Capable of extending to 75mm when used with a Nikon DX-format SLR, this Nikkor lens makes a great addition for any serious photographer.
