As a convenient way to enjoy your DVDs away from home, in slim compact form, the dual/twin version of the Nextbase SDV49-A 9” tablet style portable DVD player is exceptional. In the upper sector of the NextBase SDV48 and SDV49 ranges of in-car entertainment devices, the SDV49-AC has all the functionality you are probably looking for. Rig up the 2 devices in your car with the kit included, or stand one of the two units on the desk in your hotel room. The 9" LED backlight high-resolution screens each come with a very wide viewing angle and an inbuilt anti-skip mechanism. For viewing player privately, there is a standard 3.5mm headphone socket and volume wheel on the side of the player. So what are you or your family members in the back going to watch? Slot in a DVD or plug in any external video device such as a camcorder into the player and view the same video on both the screens, or a different show on each. Alternatively, you can plug in a memory stick (up to 8GB) into the USB 2.0 port and view pictures or movies stored there. Similarly, you can use the AV cable (supplied as standard) to plug into a TV and let the SDV49-AC operate as a standard DVD player. This is the dual/twin version of the 9” model in the NextBase range: for the SVD49-A singleton version, one screen, order 212-6309. For the SDV49-AM twin receiver version – one movie on 2 screens – order 212-0570.
