A steam output of 40g per minute continuous steam means easy pressing and a steam shot of a highly impressive 120g per minute deals easily with stubborn wrinkles and creases. The large 350ml water tank on the 40746 is illuminated so you can easily see the water level. For your comfort and convenience the Advance is fitted with a cushioned handle and an extra long 3m power cord allows you to move around the ironing board while using the iron. ‘One Touch’ the electronic temperature selection system on the 40746 flashes until the desired temperature is reached, then remains illuminated and bleeps to indicate its readiness. This is easy to use and helps prevent burning. The 40746 has a ceramic soleplate for more smoothness and glideability. As well as variable and vertical steam operations this iron has a fine water spray to dampen dry clothes and help in removing awkward creases. Other features of the Morphy Richards 40746 Advance include anti-calc and anti-drip systems and an automatic shut off that switches off the iron after a certain time so if you leave the iron on accidentally you need not worry.
