Sony’s community-based platformer returns, bringing with it a host of powerful new tools that allow players to create entire games from scratch.
LittleBigPlanet took the well worn concept of the platformer and gave it a dramatic new twist, allowing players to build their own unique levels to share with others across the globe, resulting in an almost limitless selection of levels for players to experience. Its sequel, LittleBigPlanet 2, expands this concept further, now allowing players to create their own complete games in a wide variety of gaming genres.
Using the same innovative Popit creation tools, players can now compose their own music, create short films and build robotic contraptions, vehicles and puzzles within a simple construction system. As well as players’ own creations, a series of single player levels are also included, taking the loveable Sackboy on an adventure with new themes, toys and enemies spread across the globe. Levels also allow players to work through each challenge co-operatively.
With millions of levels spanning a multitude of gaming genres, LittleBigPlanet 2 is an even richer and more colourful experience than the original platforming classic.
