Author's Biography

Sam McBratney, author of more than one hundred books and scripts, is best known for this bestselling family classic Guess How Much I Love You and has won the Bass Ireland Arts Prize and the Bisto Award, twice. He is also the author of the bestselling You're All My Favourites (9780744586602). He and his wife live in the beautiful countryside of Country Antrim in Northern Island, where they are constantly visited by their many grandchildren. Anita Jeram says that illustrating this title was a labour of love. Every time I read this book, I want to cry, she says. Anita is also the illustrator of many other popular and critically acclaimed picture books, including Don't You Feel Well, Sam? and You Can Do It, Sam by Amy Hest, and All Pigs Are Beautiful by Dick King-Smith. She lives in Northern Ireland with her family and a menagerie of pets.
