Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Anthology (PS3), developed by Red Storm Entertainment features 2 action-packed, futuristic war games: Advanced Warfighter (2006) and Future Soldier (2012). A covert US Special Forces squad has been put together in the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon games, known as ‘Ghost Unit’. Always being first into the conflict and last to retreat, missions deemed near-to-impossible are handed to the Ghost Unit. Striking with stealth and ferocity, the Ghost Unit uses tactical syncronised shots, optical camouflage and deadly drones to complete their missions.
Captain Scott Mitchell is the leader of the Ghost Recon team in the Advanced Warfighter game, as commanded by you. A US spy plan gets shot down whilst transporting a device capable of disrupting wireless communications. Intelligence then discovers that a Mexican rebel, named Colonel Carlos Ontiveros had been trying to steal it. A summit is then attacked, disrupting the North American Join Security Agreement (NAJSA) signing and killing the Canadian Prime Minister and taking the US and Mexican Presidents hostage. The Ghost Unit’s assignment is to recover the device and save the Presidents of the US and Mexico.
A stolen, military-grade bomb took-out the Ghost Squad call-signed, Predator in Nicaragua. The unit was trying to disrupt weapon trafficking in the Future Soldier game, set in 2024. Major Scott Mitchell leads the new Ghost Unit call-signed, Hunter to investigate the source of the bomb. An arms dealer named Paez in Bolvia has information about the bomb and the Ghost Unit receives orders to protect and gather information about the culprit.
