Founded by PGA Professional John Andrew in 1991 Direct Golf UK has enjoyed massive growth in its 22 successful years of trading. Starting with one small shop in Huddersfield, a philosophy of cutting manufacturers recommended retail prices by up to 70% proved to be very popular with the golfing public and Direct Golf UK quickly gained the reputation for the best prices in the UK. Backed up with fast delivery and world class customer service, Direct Golf UK quickly grew into one of the largest specialist golf retailers in the UK and Europe.

Direct Golf UK now employs over 300 people and is still run by its founder John Andrew PGA Professional. The management team is also made up of PGA Professionals and people who are fanatical and care about golf.

Are Premium Delivery Services Available for Everyone?

No, our couriers do not offer a next day or timed delivery or Saturday delivery service to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands or any non UK destinations.

Public Holidays and Working Days

Our couriers do not collect or deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays. Our couriers will not collect on Saturdays. Working days are classed as Monday to Friday. If you have chosen a premium service such as next day delivery, please take this into consideration.


Returns Policy – Please note, items that have been purchased via cannot be returned to a Tesco or Direct Golf UK store.

Return of an Unwanted Item

We want you to be 100% satisfied with everything you purchase from Direct Golf UK, however if you wish to return an item to us for an exchange or refund, please contact our dedicated Customer Services Team on free phone 08000 139 139 for your returns number. Once you have obtained your returns number you should return your goods to:

On the outside of your parcel please write the returns number. Please include a note inside the parcel with your name, address and contact details with confirmation of what is required in return. We recommend that you return the goods through the 'Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Service' and keep the receipt for your records. Upon receipt of the parcel we can then send any replacement item(s) to you free of any delivery charge.

Return of a Faulty Item

Please be aware that if a faulty product has been returned and is still under warranty, this product will be repaired if it is possible to do so. In the vast majority of such cases, upon receipt of the item, we will forward the item(s) to the relevant manufacturer for inspection. The majority of manufacturers quote up to 28 days for repair of goods. If the item cannot be repaired, we will replace it free of charge. If a product is out of warranty, repair of the faulty item will be chargeable to you.

Faults with Electric Trolleys, GPS Units and Range Finders

Due to the technical nature of certain Electric Trolleys, GPS units and Range Finders, should you need to return such an item due to a fault, we may put you in direct contact with the manufacturer who will offer specialist advice and speed up the whole process.

Can Direct Golf UK Collect my Unwanted Goods?

Yes, we can collect your item(s), the cost of this service is £8 per parcel. We can also arrange a ‘swapit’ whereby we collect your goods and deliver new goods at the same time. The cost of this service is £15. Please contact the Customer Services Team on free phone 08000 139 139 should you want to take advantage of these services. Please note these services are not available outside the UK.

If I Have Requested a Refund, How Long Will This Take?

Upon receipt of a return, if a refund has been requested this will be processed within 14 working days.
