The BT Freelance XT3500 DECT telephone, twin, has a good selection of non-online features, including an easy-to-read blue backlit screen and the ability to operate up to 300 metres from base. You get 10 hours of talk-time, and 100 of stand-by. The phone book can accommodate up to 50 names and numbers, and the XT3500 telephone has caller ID compatibility so you know who is calling you before you answer the phone. There will be many times you will appreciate having a built-in speakerphone for hand-free conversation. Last number redial is included and the answering machine can record up to a total of 25 minutes’ messages which you can access remotely.
