This Breville VKJ489 traditional kettle has a capacity of 1.8L capacity that's very useful if you find yourself having to entertain large numbers of guests. It has the appearance of a traditional, black stainless steel kettle and rests on a 360º base that caters for both left and right-handed individuals. The VKJ489 has an easy-view rear water gauge for accurate filling, and a blue illuminated power switch that glows when the kettle is boiling water. This cordless kettle uses a concealed, powerful 3kW element that rapidly boils your water. The Breville can then be lifted up by its easy-to-hold handle for pouring. A limescale filter keeps limescale bits out of your drink if you are using this kettle in a hard water area.
