The Black and Decker cordless hammer drill offers high performance, accurate drilling with variable speed control for a gentler start. This 14.4V cordless hammer drill has a heavy-duty planetary gearbox, adding durability and high torque delivery to the job, while the infinite clutch control allows 32 micro torque settings for driving various size screws, including 2 mechanical speeds for drilling into steel. A fan cooler fitted with the motor allows increased performance and extended life, and the motor is powered by a battery which can be recharged within an hour. Other features include a new ratchet mechanism allowing more beats per minute, for faster hammer drilling, and metal components for more durability and higher torque for tougher applications. A mid handle design optimises balance while reducing hand fatigue, and an electronic brake ensures safety and prevents the over-tightening of screws.
