Synopsis

This funny and quirky show features two awkward physicists who work and live together: Sheldon, an eccentric and controlling genius, and Leonard, a self-proclaimed nerd. The comedy series follows their everyday activities from the laboratory to their embarrassing interactions with girls. Other key members include their co-workers and friends, Raj and Howard. The foursome enjoys playing video games, reading comic books and exploring the nature of physics at Caltech university in California. When a pretty girl named Penny moves in next door, however, the boys are challenged to overcome their personal foibles and learn a thing or two about the world. One of the most popular comedies of 2012, the Big Bang Theory is funny, heart-warming and well worth a watch.
