Musselburgh Racecourse

Historic Musselburgh Racecourse has been a venue for horse racing since 1816, the oldest racecourse in Scotland. In the past 10 years the course has undergone a vast transformation, and now offers race goers top class venues including 3 restaurants and 7 bars. Since 2006 they have retained the 5 Star Visit Scotland status for Visitor Attractions.

Racing throughout the year they offer entertainment across both the winter jump season and the summer flat season, with approx 25 fixtures across the year. Our family days offer great value, with FREE family entertainment including fairground rides, bouncy castles etc.

If you are looking for somewhere new to entertain the kids, an excuse to dress up, or maybe a different venue for a night out with friends, Musselburgh races is the place to be.
